The History of Country Music : 45 min

They have a saying in Texas, one riot-one ranger! I get to mosey on out and present a narrative starting with country music from the 1930's into the 60's with music from Jimmie Rogers, Hank Williams Sr., E. Tubbs, Web Pierce, Lefty Frizze, Ray Price, Patsy Kline and a few others. They are all weaved into a story / history line. It features the Lead solo vocalist / guitar rhythm player from the Now and Then Band. It is informative and enjoyable and perfect for a more intimate environment.

Country Legends I: 60 min

This package features a fiddle player along with a vocalist / guitar rhythm player in a fuller musical presentation and we add in some duets and harmony vocals. It is focused on the great country stars Patsy Kline and Hank Williams Sr. as well as others. It is very entertaining and can be configured to your needs.

Now and Then Band I : 90 Min

This Classic Country Acoustic presentation featuring the Now and Then Band, provides a much fuller sound and enhances the entertainment. We attempt to offer something for everyone. It also provides you the greatest variety of well known recording Artist from the 30-60's. We weave in a little history, a Happy Birthday song and a toe tapping good time into this 90 minute entertainment package. It is designed for larger areas and is fully equipped with amplifiers, microphones, speakers and stands for larger areas.

Radio Road Show I: 120 Min

Here is a fun filled variety show. Featuring 4 players and a couple of skits to add to the fun.

Pure Classic Country with a sprinkle of Blue Grass for more variety.

We can configure for most any environment and we provide the equipment. When we are in a small living room area, we have done the performance with Acoustic only set up. Large rooms benefit from a little amplification when seating exceeds 15 or so. Beyond that, a growing amount of amplification becomes needed. The volume and room acoustic are the drivers. One can always turn the volume down so we prefer to arrive prepared.

When we are on site, extending the length of a performance is a modest cost adder. Set up and tear down and travel times are the same for a 1 hour or 4 hour show. We also do offer CD's for sale from time to time and make an attempt to visit with the audience to maximize the entertainment experience. We require parking, equipment access and electrical power dependent on set up. We request payment at the start of the show more so it does not get forgotten.

Dan Fish is the lead singer and a founder of Now and Then and the Music offered is based on the Pre-Nashville sounds of Hank Williams, those he admired and those that followed in his footsteps. Music evolves overtime as do the selections we offer but we do our best to stay true to those Honky Tonk Sounds.

We provide a professional PA system and dynamic lighting to fill the room with clear sound and multi-colored ambience. You will find us to be a friendly bunch and feel just as comfortable on the big stage or your family party. We show up on time and customize our show to accommodate client needs. The equipment utilized is appropriate for outdoors, small rooms, large dance hall sets, and acoustic unplugged cocktail hours. Our musical experience and great attitude will make any event shine.
